Question One
With which character(s) are you applying to The Bit Players? (For each, please indicate the character's name, race, class, level, general spec (words, not numbers please), and if it is your main or an alt)

~~Shadowscat, Night Elf, Druid, Eighty, Balance / Feral (DPS / Tank) Yes, It is my main.

Question Two
If you play any other characters on Lothar, who are they? (There is no need to list banker and/or mule characters here).

~~I have a few alts, however they are only for recreation. They are,
Alayeena, Blood Elf, Death Knight, Fifty-Eight
Hinatara, Draenai, Shamman, Ten
Narsissa, Blood Elf, Priest, Ten
Sathmara, Tauren, Hunter, Four

Question Three
Have you read this site's "Recruitment" page and the "Welcome! (read this first)" sticky post on the "Public Access" forum?

~~I have thoroughly read through both articles prior to application.

Question Four
How old are you? (We want to know your real-world age, not your character's. If you are female and over 25 years of age, you have permission to decline to answer this one, but otherwise we really do want to know.)

~~I am currently 17, turning 18 in a few months.

Question Five
If you know any current Bit Players, who do you know and in what context? (e.g., in real life, from other games, from other guilds, etc.)

~~No, I do not; but I would love to get to know everyone!

Question Six
Is a friend, spouse, partner in crime, or anyone else applying to The Bit Players along with you? If so, who? (If you would prefer that your applications be considered together, meaning that both would be accepted or both would be declined at the same time, please let us know here.)

~~Nope.

Question Seven
Why do you think The Bit Players, in particular, is the right guild for you? (Your answer to this question is very important.)

~~First of all, The Bit Players has a long run reputation and has been around for countless years; that deserves respect and also tells me that the guild is run by responsible and honorable people that care about more than what gear you have and what you can or can't do. The other main reason to my interest in The Bit Players is that this is one of the few guilds that realizes that while W.o.W may be a fun game, it is just that. A game; and should not be treated as a second reality that will slowly take over your life but a recreational tool to escape your worries and stresses after a busy day or simply to pass your free time. I also love the fact that that The Bit Players is possibly the only guild I have seen that can be a relaxed, recreational guild and still have a very impressive raiding schedule. I've realized through trial and error that being in a guild that is too relaxed means they are never able to get a raid going and that makes me feel like I'm missing out on the game. However, being in a guild that is considered "Hardcore" who force you to commit more hours than your job to the game is simply too much for me and I don’t appreciate how they treat people as objects instead of fellow players. I feel as if the members of "Hardcore" raiding guilds are not truly your friends and they are exactly the kind who will value W.o.W over their real lives. Unfortunately, my real life schedule can be a bit much at times so it becomes hard for me to put in so many hours even if I wanted to. I will gladly be 100% committed to any obligations I accept in-game but there are times when life simply comes first. I have long been looking for a relaxed guild that can raid successfully, and will accept me for who I am and treat me as a friend, not a tool or an object. I believe The Bit Players is just that, and much more.

Question Eight
What do you think of the loot rules posted on this site, especially the section entitled "Making Good Judgment Calls"?

~~ I think the loot rules are about as fair as they come. I don’t see any reason to go against them when they clearly have the best interest of the group in mind.

Question Nine
Does playful adult chat bother you? (This question is here because we aren't prudes and guild chat sometimes veers into "adult" territory. Rest assured, however, that anyone who abused that openness to harass anyone else would quickly be removed from guild.)

~ ~I have absolutely no problem with adult banter. My mother and I have always had a very friendly and open relationship so anything that does not get talked about in a regular high school I have many times chatted about with my own mother. It doesn’t bother me in the least.

Question Ten
Would you be uncomfortable avoiding foul language in guild? (Swearing has a way of taking over conversations, reducing everything to the lowest common denominator, and so we do not permit it in our /guild channel.)

~~ Not at all. Curse words are completely unnecessary. I don’t even really use them in my everyday conversations so I would be more than happy to not use them at all.

Question Eleven
What is your guild/server history over the last year? (Please list each guild and server where you've played and why you left each of these.)

~~I have played on Lothar ever since I bought the game and have never strayed, nor do I plan to. I have been in the following guilds,
Valar Morghulis
Class Trainer
I left both of these guilds because, while they were relaxed guilds with very friendly people, they could never seem to manage a ten man raid. I would be stuck for countless hours every weekend waiting around for them to fill in spots just to have the raid called off at 1 o’clock in the morning because we couldn’t get a full group. I have to admit after the 5th weekend wasted this way I began to get a bit annoyed with the way they ran things, mostly because they never had enough people online at once to set up a 10 man raid but they refused to fill in a couple of extra spots with people not from the guild; so not only would the raid be called off but it would be called off because we couldn’t find 1 or 2 people to fill in spots. I like to say that I’m pretty patient and understanding but I have to say the repetitious situation was a bit irritating.

Thank you for taking the time to read through my application, I know it’s a bit lengthy so I truly appreciate it!

Don't know them but intrigued by their musical taste
I am linking below more for me to not forget and in case anyone else is curious
I know Noc and I both looked it up when they mentioned it

I look forward to possibly grouping with them at some point - they seem very chatty in bitfriends

This was one of the songs they recommended (not necessarily the videos)

Just spent several hours grouped with Shadowcat. I would definitely say they're Bit material. Great personality and fun to chat with. Shadowcat actually had no idea that I was a member as I was on my lowbie alt. I honestly would have guessed Shadowcat's age to be in the 20's.

Got my vote

Hey everyone, just throwing this out there for general knowledge. I might be missing for a while becuase i recently found out my account has been frozen due tot he fact that someone hacked into it and was exploiting the game on a few of my characters. I dont really know how long it will take to fight it and get all my stuff back but i wanted to make sure people knew i didnt forget about my application or the bit or anything

Hope to be back on soon....

Sorry to hear that

Once you get it straightened out, consider an authenticator. They are really effective, and fairly inexpensive.

Alrighty, It was one heck of a long and painful battle but in the end everything worked out OK. Blizz was really nice about the whole situation, they got me every last item I had and even a few extra things that whoever bought my character had gotten before my account was returned to me.
I bought myself an authenticator and revamped all my addons so now I should be ready to hit the group running and get back to all the W.o.W wonderment
